Today's Podcast: Pacman, CeeDee a WR3; Deion to Vegas, Gruden to Dallas Latest Odds
Pacman Jones loves to run his mouth, and his latest comments may draw the ire of one wide receiver on a team he used to play for.
On Tuesday's edition of The Pacman Jones Show while discussing the Cowboys' head coach vacancy, the former NFL cornerback and punt returner said that CeeDee Lamb was a No. 2 wideout, and even lower on the depth chart on certain rosters.
"I love CeeDee Lamb but CeeDee Lamb is a 2 (wide receiver)," Jones said. "If CeeDee Lamb came to the Bengals right now, would he be a 1, 2 or 3? He'd be a f###ing 3! He'd be a 3, and there wouldn't be no question about it."
In terms of the Cowboys coach, Pacman, who maintains a great relationship with owner Jerry Jones, thinks that Jon Gruden will take over in Dallas and that Deion Sanders will end up as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.
BetOnline.ag currently has Gruden as a 22/1 longshot to be named the Cowboys head coach while Sanders has 2/1 odds to land in Vegas (Deion is the favorite for the Cowboys for good measure, and you can find odds for all 6 coach vacancies here: https://betonline.ag/sportsbook/futures-and-props/nfl-regular-season/coaches).
Near the end of the show, Pacman brings on former Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman as a guest. They discuss whether or not Justin Herbert is overrated, what the Chargers need to do going forward and, of course, A.J. Brown's sideline reading habits.
